Strategy & Benefits
SPXP seeks to deliver investment results that track the Auspice U.S. Equity Plus Trend Index (before fees and expenses). This index blends traditional U.S. large-cap equity exposure with a managed futures trend-following overlay designed to provide an additional, and historically less correlated, source of potential return. This index is an enhanced S&P 500 Index.
- Dual Exposure in One ETF: SPXP is designed to deliver both large-cap U.S. equity exposure and a managed-futures component in one liquid, transparent structure.
- Rebalanced Monthly: Holdings are systematically rebalanced within the benchmark index each month to maintain targeted exposure levels.
- Tax and Capital Efficient: 1099 Tax Reporting: No K1’s
Why SPXP?
Two return drivers in one ticker: SPXP tracks an index holding 100% long exposure to E-mini S&P 500 futures plus 100% long exposure to a managed futures trend strategy. Equity exposure stays fully intact, with the trend component stacked on top rather than funded by giving up participation.
Directional trend components: Managed futures take long and short positions across commodities, currencies, rates, and equity indices. The ability to go short is what separates this from a traditional diversifier, though correlation to equities shifts over time.
Systematic, with no discretionary calls: The index follows a published, rules-based methodology and resets exposure monthly. No one is deciding where markets head next, which makes the process easy to understand.

The performance data quoted represents past performance. Past performance does not guarantee future results. The investment return and principal value of an investment will fluctuate. An investor’s shares, when redeemed, may be worth more or less than their original cost. Current performance may be lower or higher than the performance quoted. Returns for performance under one year are cumulative, not annualized. For the most recent month-end performance please visit the fund’s website at direxion.com. Short-term performance, in particular, is not a good indication of the fund’s future performance, and an investment should not be made based solely on returns. Because of ongoing market volatility, fund performance may be subject to substantial short-term changes. For additional information, see the fund’s prospectus.
